Cherry Sage Braggot (50)

Braggot is a beer and mead hybrid. In this drink you usually find ingredients from both worlds: barley malt and honey. But that is just only a clean canvas for experimentation. From that point you can take it any direction you mind says.
In this case our mind said frozen cherries and fresh sage. That's how it got an intense rubin colour.
The aroma is full of cherry and sage. This brings up the memories from the childhood - it smells just like barberry candy from the past. The cherries are also present in the taste while the sage just brings in some grassy herbal notes to the table.
This braggot is pretty dry, in tandem with carbonation it has a lively sparkling wine like character.
