6+ years on this beast. Getting bitter red fruit wine off the bat. Old musty paper on the nose & an oaky BBA stout-esque hint of wet concrete after a fresh rain on the finish. Good but I think a fresh bottle trumps it. Not rating on account of its age.

My favorite of the vertical tasting. 2010,2017,2023. Lots of stone fruit black current. Incredibly well balanced,m. Barrel comes through but not overwhelmingly. Pairs well with cheese but also likely with anything else

Brighter than the bottle I had earlier (probably because it’s 4-5 years younger) but you can see that’s it’s headed in the same direction. This beer probably starts to go downhill after 5 years of cellaring.
