2018 Vintage, Release #8. This one seemed a bit past its prime. Lots of debris in suspension, and the flavors were more astringent (more ethanol, less oak) than I was hoping for.

2017 vintage, release 7. Bourbon barrel is prominent with notes of whiskey and vanilla. Saison underlying has pepper and cardamom notes. Oaky tannins add to the long, sweet bourbon finish. Thanks for the shopping tip, Matt.
