Holy moly did this get good after 3 years of aging! It was smooth to begin with but now you get no booze punch but all of the wonderful flavors came to life. So rich, so much barrel, it's incredible.

Daughter turned 11 today so this seemed fitting. For 2 years sitting, this still had a ton if booze and barrel character but also a nice chocolate and char note throughout. A really nice beer for 23%

What's a 23.1% ABV stout on a Monday among friends? Even though I'm drinking it solo. Released in 2023, but even two years later, the beer is replete with booze and barrel character, and smudges of char, gritty cocoa and a bit of leather. Spirit nose.
