Red Dead Retraction

Red Dead Retraction - born of an as-yet-unknown brewery accident while brewing our Retraction IPA! It pours a beautiful glowing amber colour. The nose has some grapefruit pith, as well as some clove, and a hint of rosewater. On the palate, it's rich and full, with some burnt toffee malt character giving way to oily resinous hop oils in the finish. It's no longer hop-forward enough aromatically to be called an IPA, so if we were entering it into a competition, we'd enter it under the style known as American Strong Ale.
