Vanilla spicy notes permeate the aroma and flavor with a hint of raisins and some hop bite near the end. Not shy, the alcohol warms throughout. Tastes like an oatmeal cookie dipped in bourbon. Really smooth and drinkable for such a heavy beer.

This beer defines the times of Covid, but I have aged it for about 8 years now. Rich nose of spice cake and, well, spice cake. Taking a sip, the beer is full in body with caramel and a hint of chocolate. There’s woody oak and raisin and hint of chocolate.
