Raleighwood - Bourbon Barrel Aged Old Ale (2015)

Inspired by the early days of Hollywood & it's film industry- a scene that exploded with dreamers and doers much like the current craft-brewing scene in the Raleigh- The Raleigh Wood Series is our malty interpretation of an actor and their repertoire. In this case, the actor is an English style old ale providing a different barrel-aged performance every year! This year has been aging 12 months in bourbon barrels. Bourbon barrels impart boozy layers of vanilla, clove & spice that elevate this ale's toasty, caramel nature. Strong malt & sweet caramel open the show, giving way to a toasty, bready second act & ending in a roasty finale! Show Less
