With a hefty backbone of pale malt, oats, wheat and Carapils malt, this beer was built for drinkability and to hold up against an abundance of flavors. The primary hop used in the beer was Lotus. This high profile hop displays exceptional aromatic characteristics, boasting waves of orange and vanilla followed by notes of candied grape and tropical fruit. As for secondary hops, we used New Zealand Wakatu and Cryo Cashmere. Wakatu is the perfect complimentary hop with a distinct floral character and a slight emphasis on citrus/lime aromas. Cryo Cashmere simply put is powerful. It has a red berry, rhubarb, and watermelon notes that can dominate your senses.
