Endless Night

Together with stout masters, 3 Sons Brewing Co., we present Endless Night, the barrel-aged stout of our collective dreams. We started with a double mash to deliver a big-bodied beer. As the name of the term implies, we mashed in twice and combined the first runnings to create a super concentrated wort. (And in our constant effort to reduce waste, we brewed another beer out of the second runnings!) The stout went on to rest in Breckenridge bourbon barrels for 10 months before being conditioned on organic Sri Lankan toasted coconut, Tahitian vanilla bean, and Ghanaian cacao. The result exceeded our dreams: a jet-black brew with a decadent, thick body. Aromas of toasted coconut, melted vanilla bean ice cream and marzipan intermingle with flavors of toffee, bourbon-soaked ladyfingers and chocolate mousse.
