As amazing as I'm sure people think this is I just can't with barleywine. Not grading.

Solid BA Barleywine. Thick and heavy. Not overly sweat with more cocoa nibs opposed to raisins.

Pours nearly pitch black with a small beige head of foam. Aroma and flavor shows notes of ripe, dark fruit, caramel, toffee, and ample whisked soaked oak. Full bodied and smooth with soft carb leads to a warming, dark fruit and caramel finish. Damn good.

Amazing. TY, Chad! Master ninja ABV. No idea how this is 14.5%. Slightly chewy (thick and perfectly viscous) body. Outstanding. Balanced, lots of flavor, high-quality and essentially perfect. 4.75+, at least. Rounded up. I don’t mind giving this a 5/5.

So dang barrel forward as well. Sweet, but doesn't hit so hard like some of the other PR beers that often are out of balance with adjuncts on top of adjuncts. A great change of pace
