I was gifted a number of Prairie stouts this weekend, and I decided to start with the base stout. Delicious. Smooth, warm alcoholic burn, roasted coffee notes. Sticky, sweet, burnt caramel. I look forward to trying the rest!

Some roast and a little whiskey. Odd note of staleness here like old smokes in Alberta. Black pour with ok head. Some chocolate. Oily and a little syrupy. Less good than their high standard stouts. Tap at Churchkey.
