For 24 months in bourbon, I expected it to be much stronger. Quite smooth. The higher ABV is noticeable, but not obnoxious. A solid base, but I feel like it could be expanded into something more. If it was bottled in 2017, then the cellaring might explain

2017 bottle, big and brash with a bourbon forward palate.

Little xmas eve treat from the crew at The Drake. Opened up their cellar of bottles. Rich, boozy, slipping down so easy.

Rich bourbon aroma gave way to notes of caramel, chocolate, toffee, nuts, vanilla, and oak. incredibly dry with a mildly tannic finish.
Still tasty even after all these years. Smooth. Booz is well balanced.
