Prior to lockdown, we had our eye on April for launching a core range (yep, you heard right, a CORE range) of beers that we'd be able to come back to again and again.
COVID-19 duly put a dampner on those plans, but it didn't dissuade us from smacking a new label on our core pale ale trial. Preliminary Flex is our first dip into a beer simple enough to brew again and again, but complex enough to keep people coming back again and again. Setting ourselves a very high bar against Steady Rolling Man, which we consider the best pale ale in the country; our effort is a simple but effective hop bill of Citra and Simcoe, with just a little bit of Cascade in the whirlpool, clean fermented with US05 yeast. The result? Probably our best and most drinkable pale ale to date. Show Less
