At the Going Down of the Sun

We're pretty excited by this one. We were approached by the Royal Hospital Chelsea, the home of the world famous Army veterans the Chelsea Pensioners, to tender for the chance to produce their official beer. We completed taste tests with the Pensioners themselves in order to fine tune the beer and the result is this - At the Going Down of the Sun - a fitting tribute to the heroic sacrifices made by all our armed forces personnel.

We were delighted when the Chelsea Pensioners chose a NEPA as their favourite beer style during our taste tests. The original beer was a touch on the strong side and so we dialled it down and finally settled on a session (by today's standards) 5.5% - not compromising on either the quality or flavour profile.
