Matt L is drinking a True Brit by Peerless Brewing Co. at The Elihu Yale (Wetherspoon)
Well balanced but strong biscuity IPA. The write up for the beer boasts about the use of British hops only and the abandoning of all foreign hops. Nigel Farage must be rejoicing at such brewing philosophies.

Not as twiggy as expected (!) - no citrus here, fairly spicy bitter hops, light sweet pale malt background, bitter finish, bit earthy spicy - these hops work better in a more malty brown ale but it's quite fine 3.3
