A year of aging has mellowed this and created a very well balanced stout. It reminds me of a seven layer chocolate cake soaked in bourbon.

Black and thick. Aroma is pure bourbon barrel. Mouthfeel is chewy, viscous, little to no carbonation. Taste is whiskey, chocolate, vanilla, and espresso. More barrel with raisin and fig notes on the finish.
