Fresh, this is one of my favorite Orpheus beers ever. The double barrel version especially. With 2.5 years of age the sherry dominates. Super complex. One of the beers I'll miss most.

wow, a brew that really appeals to me. velvety smooth, deep notes of dark fruits, fermented cherries up front. woody sweetness. quite a tribute to a brewery that seems to have shut down. 🙏 4.60

Lots of things going on here. Barrel flavors are complex, a little peppery and dark fruit notes. It's kind of like a dark barleywine. Hides the abv well. RIP orpheus.
