Gold awarded recipe, the 4th batch of quadrupel was split in two different 190 l whisky barrels. Beautiful brown color with impressive peat aromas and iodine, dried prunes, liquorice, followed by a savoury complexity with vanilla notes, wood, salt, spices and fading ashes. Aged for 8 months in the barrel, the synthesis of the beer, wood and time create a complex specialty beer.
