Obviously a bit more tart than the one they brewed with honey. But it does have that distinct funky dryness and oak tannin flavor. You also get white wine flavors which compliments it well.

Although the fruity gentleman seemed game for a funky evening with the always wood-starved St Bretta, his grapes turned out to be spent when push came to come; for after ample white vino, the would-be oak proved to be nothing more than bone dry in the end

Definitely like the vinous character, but it's a little less tart than the base. Ultimately cuveed the two for the win
