Ya know what, out of all the stouts in this mess, this is actually enjoyable. Thin mouthfeel, bourbon is there for being 12(?) years old.

True treat! So many layers, all amazing! Chocolate, brownies, coffee finish. Mellow BA influence cold. Molasses; 2nd Cinnamon, occasionally a slight licorice hint in finish. Luscious; makes you want more. Smooth and integrated.

John Wardale: Chocolate, yes…but orange,cherry&barrel shine as it warms. Light molasses,some raisins; more pie spice(allspice, ginger, Ceylon cinnamon); more malty,less coffee. (Citrus?) vv dark caramel (caramel coffee). 12% starts to show slightly in late finish.

John Wardale: Dark toastyness is tasty, tho slightly more than I think I need, but this (if not priced for 13 YO) would gladly have me crawling home! Mellow, but still bright. Potentially peak aging!

Rich Phillips: I had this bottle stashed away for a long time and opened it. I'm a big fan of imperial stouts and to get a good balance without being too booze forward is hard to find. Everything is good here. Brewing a lot of my own beers to put on tap here at home.
