It’s uhhh… extra hoppy? Age hasn’t been kind. Strong for sure, sweetness, with a somewhat stale, bitter, hoppy kick. Brutal. Yet I keep sipping on it thinking it’s going to get better… if nothing else, science!

This is where I fell in love with barleywines. Plenty of piny/juniper hops over malty allspice & nutmeg. Medium-full bodied. Almost a slight tart fermenting stone fruit going on here. Really tasty stuff after 8 years in the bottle. Thanks Ron D.
