Bottle 25/160: Souvenir from our 2017 Suffolk visit. Annual bottle trawl find (BB 03/01/22). Effervescent to start but quickly settled to a deep, rich, dried-fruit sweetness. Read somewhere that Alan Thomson considers this his best brew. It’s good!

Jon Brumwell: Decided to open this because it had spent four summers in the garage and I didn’t want it to have gone over. It hadn’t - and probably had the legs for a few years more! Wonderful stuff - and wonderful memories of talking with Alan Thompson at the brewery!
