Feral Cat Empire

This collab with our buds at Tripping Animals was brewed as a Double Dry Hopped Double IPA. After adding a generous amount of Mosaic, Citra CRYO, and Amarillo hops this beer was fermented with Tripping Animals’ house ale yeast and double dry hopped for maximum hop aroma and flavor. We then diverted some of this batch into a French oak barrel inoculated with our house mixed culture of wild yeast and bacteria, and aged the beer for an additional 7 months. Aromatics of ripe pineapple and passionfruit lead to notes of tangerine and pink grapefruit. Light acidity, French oak tannins, and mellow Brett funk round out the profile on this unique beer. 9% ABV Show Less
