I don't wanna start any beef with The Cricketers Arms but when I had this at the Turks Head it was the best beer I've had in 2025 and both times I've had it at the Cricks it's been perfectly nice but devoid of all the character that made it great tbh

Hmmmm well, its ok... I kinda like it for the wrong reasons. Its simple and can feel the alcohol having an effect on me. There isn't anything by way of flavour, it tastes kinda forgetful ..

Probably my least favourite North riding dark to date. Other than their mint stout. Some flavours don't belong in ale if you ask me! Other than that, the brew is on point

A full flavoured cask conditioned stout in very good order and free Joy Division tracks blasting away on the jukebox. Bonny Donny on a Sunday evening. Sadly next door is the ' fan zone ' !
