Damn, this is a really good barleywine. There is an interesting apple not, which almost has a caramel apple quality with the base barleywine.

Fantastic flavor, clean. Great raisin in the nose. Quick sweet bite on the tip of your tongue initially. But it does disappear too quickly with no real aftertaste.

Much more vinuous versus other batches. Old caramelized prunes, figgy pudding, oak. ABV is there but very complimentary. Reminiscent of Madeira Bual. Fantastic and unique batch

Might have been the least favorite of the lot. Very boozy, fiery burn going down. Some sweetness, toffee notes. Still good but didn’t warm up and chill out. Alcohol taste throughout.
