R.R. #10 - Russian Imperial Stout w/ Dark Plums

Opaque black stout with a tan tinted head and excellent retention. This big, chewy Russian Imperial Stout is fermented with dark plums that have been deliberately left in cold storage for a period of time to oxidize and gain natural complexities. Post fermentation it is then barrel aged for several months to further concentrate. The result is a blockbuster in flavour predominant with roast coffee beans, dark chocolate, raisins, molasses and a very slight hint of roast game. Residual sweetness and alcohol will leave the lips a little bit sticky with a gentle warming sensation. Show Less
