There you are, nodding and grinning like an idiot while an acidic and probably hilarious insult hangs quietly in the air. Classic Queenslander — the sucker punch that feels like a pat on the back. Outranked and outnumbered by US servicemen during WWII, Brisbane-based troops used the tram-rider’s ”Two to the Valley” call to their advantage. Saluting and delivering mock submissiveness attached to a leveller that, at the time, knew no rival. This IPA celebrates the sly put-down, the quiet equaliser and the one-up.
This is an IPA that doesn’t mince words. Biscuit and caramel malts accentuate hoppy bitterness, which is driven by US west coast hops. Proving that we can make a strategic alliance work when it suits, this bilateral ale is all Aussie at heart. Show Less
