Pours deepest chestnut, lightly hazy with a good head. Smooth light roasted maltiness with sweet caramel notes; nutty hedgerow hop overtones. Very subtle whisky edge. Overly sweet for my taste, but an interesting brew.

Complex and rich Scotch ale. I really like it, could be an all night beer. Deep brown sweetness and lingering rum-like alcohol notes. Think raisin and dark toffee. Very good. Thanks to the wife for bringing it from Scotland.
