Super old bottle. Maybe 2007? The date I wrote on it wore off. This is still tremendous. A subtle candy sweetness paired with a beautiful level of smokiness on the nose, a little less smoke on the palate, but enough to make Rauchbier fans happy.

Sat on this one too long. Almost no smoke flavor, but some acidity.

11-3-10. Sweet meaty smoke and caramel aroma. Medium bodied, sweet caramel and smoked meat flavours. The rye makes itself known as a twist on the usual caramel sweetness. There is a beguiling spiciness and woodiness in here too.
