wow. candied cherry very prominent on the nose. very light for a stout, but very little oxidation for the age and maaan, the cherry flavor is out of this world. almost reminds me of serendipity, very impressive!

Not rating as so old, excellent cherry note still there but the rest fallen off. Probably a 3.8 at best now, was 5.0 for many years. The Carey’s should be forced to sell the brewery and banned from brewing for not making newer versions off this. ;)
