What must have been an hours-long boil resulted in a balanced but sweet, stout-like Barleywine. Thick with some nearly roast flavors, lots of Maillard. Dried fruit, port wine, and BA booze. Smooth and deep. HUGE thanks to Jenny B. for leaving this gem.

Pitch black pour, light brown foam. Sweet bourbon vanilla nose with some charred burnt sugar notes aswell. Huge BBA influence. Sweetness, and dominating notes of raisin and figs. Burnt sugar. Very classic very well made BBABW.
