使用したホップはMosaicとSimcoe。マンゴーや柑橘、ベリー類、松といったニュアンスを持つホップで、トロピカル感のある味わいを持っています。さらに、新たな試みとして、実際にトロピカルフルーツ、マンゴーを加えました。 でも、目指したのはあくまでペールエール。フルーツビールやビアカクテルのように主張するのではなく、ホップとのバランスが取れた、引き立て役としての使い方です。小麦麦芽由来の薄にごりと、少し甘めのボディの優しい口当たり。ホップとマンゴーの香りが調和し、トロピカルな味わいに奥行きを持たせています。液温が上がってくるにつれ、トロピカル感がさらに増していきます。少しの酸味が爽やかさと飲みやすさを下支えしており、ゴクゴクと飲めるペールエールに仕上がりました。

We used the hops Mosaic and Simcoe with this Pale Ale. These Hops have tropical aroma such as mango, citrus, berries, and pine. In addition to this, we added actual mango instead of dryhopping. This beer looks hazy, it is derived from wheat malt and contributes to the smooth mouthfeel of rich and sweet body. Tropical hop and mango’s aroma are in harmony, it is like forming multilayered in flavor. When the liquid temperature rises, the tropical flavor further increases. And little sourness is the key to this beer with high drinkability. Show Less
