Really nice dark, dried fruit presence from the underlying porter; it stands up to the barrel better than expected. Nice sherry barrel accents. Wisp of roast as well. Definitely grew on me as the bottle wore on.

Like a chocolate-covered cherry but not overly sweet. Lots of sherry sweetness (must have been first-run barrels) and dark chocolate. Medium- body. So well made! I want more from this series.
