Much more carbonated than I have come to expect from a Barley Wine. Very Malty aromas, and heavy malt and alcohol on the flavor. Just like a good Barley Wine should be. Excellent example of the style. I enjoyed this a lot.

From Ratebeer. 08-APR-2011, Bottle @Ulkløbben tasting @Sonni, from "Fish & Beer". Served in a flight of three barley wines (Flying Dog and Stone). Quite dark amber with beige head. Very very spicey herbal nose. Ginger(!) what is that doing in my barley w
