Four Day Smoko Porter

Like all great ideas, this collab was born in a pub. Our brewers ventured south for the 2018 hop harvest and, after a few post hop-walk beers at HBC, struck
up a deal to brew a winter beer together.
In the intervening months, Scott, Jimmy and Alex from HBC prepared their own smoked malt with a
locally sourced mixture of apple, cherry and plum. They ran out of those woods on the third day, so on
the fourth day they used the staves from a Lark whisky barrel they had just emptied the day before.
Hence the 4 day smoko!
After all that hard work, they HBC crew headed north for the easy part - a brew day (and perhaps a few beers) at Goat.
The result is a deceptively smooth porter with a sweet smoke flavour. Show Less
