Amazing. All loaded. Luscious choc, cocoa, coffee, vanilla, almonds/peanuts, marzipan, fudge/brownie, coconut, licorice. Vegetal. Huge body. Heavy, thick, oily, sticky, creamy. Layered. Slow. Totally sweet. Full dessert. Boozy Bourbon, warm. Not tiring.

Holding up far better than its haggard namesake. Not quite as mindblowing as it was fresh, but all of the adjuncts are still present and working in harmony. Far better than I'd expect out of a three-year-old pastry stout.

My first hit is marshmallow and then a Snickers finish. Thick and tasty, even if it's past its prime. Limited carbonation.

Far better than I would expect after 4.5 years. Some faint sherry oxidation is creeping in, but the adjuncts are still shockingly vibrant. Huge dry cocoa and assertive peanut butter, with coconut still poking through. Solid barrel profile still evident.
