We continue our saison series, this time with a fruited one. The lovely yeast used for this beer is famous for its apple and pear aromas, so we decided to enrichen it with quince.
As with the previous 2, the final gravity of this one was 1.000, making it a real summer thirst quencher. Quince can be detected in the aroma already along with other fruity esters. Sweetness comes first from the flavors, transitioning to a gentle tartiness, just as a ripe quince would. Whoever ate this piece of fruit will also recognize the typical tingling sensation it causes on the tongue in the aftertaste. Show Less
