Very thin. Doesn't come close to even a porter. Crispy and over-carbonated. I know some dark lagers which would resemble this.

I'm a huge bourbon fan so this clearly is in my wheelhouse. The aroma is subtle and the taste is lingering. Exactly what you want in a barrel aged stout.

Vanilla and honey from the oak and bourbon mixed with chocolate and a dry roasted stout make for a hell of a great beer. A touch sweet for me but that's a minor flaw.
