2019 marked the 100th anniversary of the
passage of the 19th Amendment, giving women the right to vote. Progressive congresswomen wore "suffragette white" to the State of the Union address given by a misogynistic president to express solidarity, and declare that the women's movement would not be deterred.

Our design pays homage to Alexandria
Ocasio-Cortez entering the House Chamber dressed in white, as well as the leaders of the suffragette movement, and the many women of color who were excluded from it. We salute this dynamic new Progressive leader and the continuum of women throughout history who were unwilling to accept the status quo. Show Less
