Very good attempt at a very difficult style to make. Needs a touch more sweetness.
Earned the Home Brewed Goodness (Level 8) badge!Shawn Meek: The fruited version is better. What fool gave you the other one? :D
Taylor M: Jeff shared it. Well, dang... Now I want to try the fruited one.
Shawn Meek: Ha, I thought I had given it to you, sorry. A failed attempt to insult myself!
Taylor M: Ha, fair. Should also mention that this may be my favourite Flanders name ever.

Excellent beer. Flavour, feel, aroma were all spot-on. Is there a style you can't nail?
Earned the Home Brewed Goodness (Level 3) badge! Earned the Pucker Up (Level 19) badge!Shawn Meek: That's a very nice compliment, but that's a hard style to nail! I don't think it'll ever happen by me.
PEIBeerGuy: I think if it hits the target in each trait, and it's really enjoyable, then it's been nailed. Perfection in beer is just a lil subjective.

For a bottle this young there's a lot of complexity; sourness is spot on. I drank this really fast.

Carbonation is a bit low, pretty standard for me with this style. The downside of a low pH I guess.
Mark McGraw: Haha love the name. What did you use to ferment this. I have tried the wyeast and white labs strains with mixed results.
Shawn Meek: Some details in the description Mark; in my experience, bottle dregs help quite significantly in souring with Roselare.
Mark McGraw: I have some dregs in that I've been keeping up from some Jolly Pumpkin brews im going to toss them into my most recent batch soon.

Really damn tasty. Low carb for now but this is fantastic for being so young.
