50/50 KLCC Golden Anniversary Pale Ale

The 50/50 KLCC Golden Anniversary Pale Ale is collaboration brew between Coldfire Brewing and McMenamins High St. Brewery. This year we're celebrating 50 Years of KLCC in Eugene. So we went with a 50 IBU Pale Ale with an original gravity of 1.050. Most of that bitterness comes from HUGE late hop additions of Simcoe and Centennial Hops and has also been dry-hopped. This gives us a nice big hop aroma while keeping the beer lighthearted and easily drinkable for the Eugenian masses. It was fermented on Vermont Ale Yeast to provide some extra citrus and peach afternotes.

Hops: Simcoe, Centennial
