Vinous and dry, some raisins and dark fruits. Slightly oxidized in the aftertaste.

Vineus, eiken, gedroogd fruit, vijgen, pijptabak. Volle body, weinig koolzuur. Iets alcohol. Complex. Hout in de nasmaak.

Balanced with semi-sweet aftertaste. Intense aroma but still a little bit thin aftertaste. 4.15!

OK, I think I understand what they (thought) they were after: lending an oud bruin character to an English barleywine. Tough luck, unless someone enjoys this. To me, having a sour barleywine is far from being considered even a drink. A ruined experience.
