James Squire might have been a chicken stealing, highway robbing, convict lothario, but he had some serious business smarts. That’s why, in 1806, he built his first tavern at Kissing Point on the shores of the Parramatta River, just at the spot where thirsty sailors would want to break their journey between Parramatta and Sydney Cove.
A full-flavoured pale ale with Vienna and Munich malts creating a rich, malty character. German hops give crisp herbaceous flavours and US hops add bright citrus and fruit aromas.
