LCI. Excited to get to try a South African brew, even more so a mead. This was very tasty and definitely different. The fig flavors were paired well against the honey and gave this a very distinct sweetness. Only downside was that the body felt light. 4.1

This was very different in a nice way. Light and fairly dry. Mild honey flavor up front. Solid fig flavor through the middle. Light berry-esque fruit note with a slightly spicy flavor towards the finish. Overall this surprised me - it was pretty good.

Light still mead. Slight acetic in nose but not in taste. I get pear, light notes of fig, and a hint of oak. Maybe that's what I'm smelling...? Good, but not sure it's $26/bottle good. But I am enjoying it.

Might be the most complex mead I’ve ever had. Aromatic with honey & fruit & minerals & a bit of dust. Taste is similarly complex, with fig & honey primary. Dry finish.
