Sweet, dark roast malts, chocolate, sweet oak, bourbon, molasses. Hazy, very dark brown, big, creamy, beige head. Light bitter. Bittersweet, dark roast malts, cacao, oak, bourbon, fairly thin, med carb, full bod. Very nice, yet overcarbonated,thin palate.

More of a sipping drink to accompany the Christmas cake and Stilton than a pub beer. Predominantly chocolate and bourbon on both the nose and the palate with the warmth of alcohol at the end. Not a favourite beer style but it's undoubtedly well made.

Nice dark beige head. Aroma is chocolate bourbon and very boozy. Chocolate is the dominant taste but doesn't overwhelm the alcohol, which keeps letting you know it's there like an annoying child on Chr1stm4s morning. Beautiful stuff, thank you Graeme.
