This is my last can of 4 over a year or so and it has grown on me with age. The boozy flavour seems to have softened. It’s a bit sweeter and I can tats the toffee and definately the scotch flavours from the barrel

Yes, this is so sweet but the taste is not from malt only. Seems a kind of technique for stout is introduced In this beer I think, and that makes this beer not superior. My favorite scotch ale is malty and sweeteas with malt.
