Might have made more sense to have this on 5deMay. Aroma of a wheat beer. Nice clarity. General flavor of an English Pale. The malt-hop balance is great but then the chili comes and stays awhile on the finish. Might need to redo this recipe sans chilis.

The more sensible EA variant. Complex smokey flavor. Generally clean and light, but oaty body. Sneaky spice on the finish. A little tropical fruit on the finish, too.

Lots of dissolved carb (pic) but not heady. Sneaky spiciness on the finish. Comes out more once acquainted. This beer continually evolves as you drink it beyond just spicy! A little oats, then smoke, then grenadine sweetness.

A little smoky. Sweet with some excellent English style hop flavor. Sneaky, lingering spiciness on the finish lets the other flavors shine but prevents you from forgetting it's a chili beer. Following a looooong week of conferencing.

Carb test! A little young and carb is light but there. Extremely clean and a pleasant, neutral ESB flavor...then comes the chili. It's sneaky and comes in after the beer flavor wanes but super-spicy! I'm pleased.
