Bad Science Kölsch

Two row sparkleyness. Malt is really good but dense. Red.

Creamy. Aged so much better than the K-by-5s. Still has the anomalous red tint.

Aged. Surprisingly decent and German for a faux Kolsch.

Tuesday pints. Developing iron flavor with age, esp on back. Residual German malt sourness, maybe due to 60min boil instead of 90 w/ DE malt

Sour German malt, even with age. Akin to a very strong flavored czech pilsner.

Light body, crisp finish. Very good with a brat and fries :)

Lots of no-sharp two row body. Tanginess of a Kolsch but fits better as some other sort of German ale. Surprisingly palatable.

From the bottle. Lots of German malt without malt bitter. Slightly mouth coating. Might be the "Welcome to craft" sweet spot. Let's add corn

Malty. Tasty.

Not a Kolsch. More like a Pilsy Ale. From the bottle with Wagg.

Not a Kolsch but I don't care. Better with age.

Very smooth. 2-row is so much less bitter but this still has a German flavor. Not proper but decent, so what?

Because p values.

2-row. Delta from German malts easily detectable. Very smooth. Acidic. Sharp, mouth-coating (body) finish. Evolving like German w/ age.

Not all science is bad.

Carb testing cold crashed and racked variant. All seems ok. Reddy for Kompetition! (Get it?)

Smooth finish and a bitter that sticks with you. No rating until competition.
