Peach Giant

Peach Giant is a tart German style Berliner Weisse that pours a hazy orange pint with a persistent white head that gives off a tremendous peach aroma. The sweet flavor and aroma of peach is complimented by a light doughy sweetness from the mix of German wheat and pilsner malt used in the mash. The mash is soured using our house strain of four different lactobacillus species resulting in a complex and refreshing sour profile that compliments the stone fruit flavor. After the initial fermentation has completed, we pile as much peach as we can into the fermentor and allow it to referment before cold crashing and kegging. The result is a light bodied sessionable summer beer that is bursting with peach flavor and aroma. Show Less
