Lost In the Wood

This beer is unique in that it was fermented in used Marker's Mark Bourbon and Colorado whiskey barrels.
The barrels help give an extra layer of depth from the char to the sugars in the wood. While this beer is light and easy to drink it is nutty, slight roasted notes and chocolaty. After fermentation in the barrels the beer was transferred to a stainless tank and toasted cacao nibs and fenugreek were added. These helped to showcase the nuttiness and hints of chocolate notes.
